Graduation Ceremony at DPS Bokaro

Bokaro : With the objective to provide an opportunity for young graduates to take pride in their accomplishment and celebrate with peers, DPS Bokaro organised a Graduation Ceremony for the students of Class V on Saturday. In the ‘Ashawaghosh Kala Kshetra’ of the school, around 250 students were honoured. Children well dressed in the Graduation gowns, were duly felicitated. Ms. Kumari Ranjana Asthana, Principal District and Sessions Judge (PDJ), Bokaro graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. She said that the celebrations took her down the memory lane and she is reminded of her childhood. She encouraged the students and said that one should cherish the moments of school-days as they are the most precious days of life. She appreciated the beautiful programme staged by DPS Bokaro and conveyed her best wishes for the bright future of the students. 

 

Dr. A. S. Gangwar, Principal DPS Bokaro said that the school is committed to provide holistic education to the children from the elementary classes itself. In line with the demands of the 21st century and New Education Policy 2020, the school is exploring and nurturing every genre of students along with classroom-education. As the young learners are about to step into a world of transition he wished them progress, growth and success. He urged them to be responsible, compassionate and creative leaders of tomorrow. He urged the parents to spend quality time with their children as it is crucial for their overall development and well being. It strengthens the parent-child relationship and promotes bonding and positive emotions.

The programme commenced with the welcoming of the Chief Guest with sapling followed by lamp-lighting. The mesmerizing musical rendition by the school choir enthralled the audience. The dance presentations on Ganesh Vandana and ‘Hausalon ki udan…’ was a testament to the transformative power of dance and the ability of art to inspire people. The ceremony concluded with the vote of thanks followed by the National Anthem.
