Bokaro : Dr. A. S. Gangwar, Principal, Delhi Public School Bokaro has added another feather to the cap of glory being acknowledged as the Changemaker of the Year. He has been honoured with ‘Leader of the Year Award ‘ in the School Changemaker Conference organized by Centre for Educational Development (CED) Foundation in New Delhi. He received this honour for his commendable efforts and initiatives taken in implementing quality education to build 21st Century skills, develop holistic qualities of children and empower teachers to be the changemakers of tomorrow.
The award was given by Smt. Pratibha Shukla, Minister of State, Women Welfare, Child Development and Nutrition, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh & Smt. Sangeeta Tiwari, Member of Women Welfare Commission, Uttar Pradesh. It is worth mentioning that Dr. Gangwar is the only Principal from the state of Jharkhand to be honoured with this coveted award.
Expressing his happiness, Dr. Gangwar said, DPS Bokaro believes in the cause of being resilient and is open to embrace the changes to champion the cause of education. We have always strived to create global citizens with ethos and values who would foster the love of humanity. It is also our constant endeavor to equip every faculty member to be an achiever. This award is a testimony to our hard-work. I dedicate the award to the entire school family as it is the combined achievement of our students, staff and parents. With everyone’s cooperation, the school will add new dimensions to its scroll of achievements.
