Weekly Youth Column By Dr. Anita Kumari.
In today’s fast-moving world, young minds face unprecedented pressure—academic stress, career uncertainty, emotional conflicts, social comparison, digital overload, and the constant search for identity and purpose. The Bhagavad Gita, spoken over 5,000 years ago on the battlefield of Kurukshetra, offers timeless wisdom for these very challenges.
Although rooted in ancient philosophy, the Gita is not a religious text alone—it is a universal manual for mental strength, clarity, confidence, leadership, and inner peace. At the moment of greatest confusion, when Arjuna feels lost and helpless, Lord Krishna guides him from doubt to determination. This journey reflects the inner battle every young person experiences today.
“Gita for Life: A Journey from Confusion to Clarity” is a weekly youth series designed to bring the teachings of the Gita into modern life in a simple, practical, and inspiring format. Each chapter is explored through relatable life lessons, real stories of achievers, reflection journals, weekly challenges, and discussion questions—helping students and young adults transform knowledge into action.
This series is not about memorizing shlokas—it is about discovering strength, gaining direction, mastering the mind, and building character. It is an invitation to rise as warriors of life, not worriers trapped by fear.
May this journey bring clarity to the confused, courage to the uncertain, and purpose to the ambitious.
Welcome to the battlefield within—your Kurukshetra.

Chapter 1: Arjuna Vishada Yoga – Understanding Stress & Confusion.
Kurukshetra is not just a battlefield of warriors—it is the battlefield inside every young mind.

My Biggest Learnings from Gita
My New Commitments

“This column is not merely a study of the Bhagavad Gita; it is a meaningful initiative to guide today’s youth from fear, confusion, and mental stress toward inner strength, clarity, and the right direction in life.
By connecting ancient wisdom with modern challenges, the series inspires young minds to become self-aware, resilient, and purpose-driven.”
Gita for Life is a rare and thoughtful column that speaks directly to today’s youth without diluting the depth of the Bhagavad Gita. The way the chapter is connected to real-life challenges—stress, confusion, purpose, and self-discipline—makes ancient wisdom feel relevant and practical. The reflection questions and weekly challenge section encourage introspection rather than passive reading. This column doesn’t preach; it guides. It deserves a regular place in every newspaper read by young minds and concerned parents alike.
This beautifully connects the Gita to modern youth struggles, making Arjuna’s confusion feel deeply personal and powerfully relevant.
A calm, relatable reminder that feeling lost is human—and clarity begins the moment we seek guidance instead of giving up.
Gita for Life is deeply inspiring and beautifully written. It connects the timeless wisdom of the Gita with modern life in a clear, meaningful way. The article encourages inner strength, right action, and emotional balance, making complex ideas feel simple and practical. A thoughtful piece that motivates self-reflection and offers guidance for living with purpose and peace.
It’s quite knowledge….Very nyc mam …
