What is a desire?
Is it a hope or a fire?
A hope that can change the world,
Or a fire that can ruin all thoughts.
Desire of a bird to fly,
In the limitless sky.
Hope of happiness that sparks ,
In a bride’s eyes.
Hope of aging parents ,
From their growing child.
Hope of heavy rain,
By the thirsty land.
Desire of success,
In the dreamy eyes.
Are all never ending desires ,
That lifts us up and gives us power.
But does this hold good for all desires?
What then if it overpowers?
Peace and tranquillity are harmed,
When this overpowering desire alarms.
Innocent soul and mind are caged,
When desire brings a person in rage.
All evil thoughts seizes one’s mind,
When desire becomes thirst, everything’s left behind.
Greedy person can never be satisfied ,
At last one laments and left with all cries.
Still a question and a matter of choice ,
That can affect one’s actions and even life .

Apart from her dreams, her hobbies are creative writing and painting. It eases her life as it makes her more creative in her working and broadens her mind.
